The Lakers split their home-and-home set with Golden State
— barely — and the four-game season series as well.
The unorthodox Warriors can be a matchup nightmare with their run-and-gun offense and funky zone defense, and we saw in last year’s playoffs that they’re capable of upsetting a high-seeded opponent.
Although much can change, the Warriors and Lakers are on track to meet in this year’s postseason.
Looking ahead, we ask you, Lakers fans:
What worries me most is Bob Delaney. His dislike for Kobe is legend.
The lane violation he called on Kobe was just the latest attempt by Delaney to show up Kobe and if it cost the Lakers the game that’s even better as far as Delaney is concerned. He should be barred from officiating any game involving Kobe Bryant.
We owe Bob Delaney for that DFish flop… why is everyone worried about the Wars? We were missing Gasol and Bynum…
No worries on the warriors period!!….G.State is against the wall for the 8th spot from here to the end of the season, So expect them to play in that urgent mode. They’ve shown The Lakez there best shot and they were able to sustain both games (even though we came-up short at home) Once the Lakez get their Big men (or even one of them Drew or Pau) they will dominate the paint and neutralize or even shut down the Warriors “Run-Amok” style. There’s a Big reason why LA has owned the warriors for years……They can’t handle Lakers Biggs
I agree with Jhazard about Bob Delaney. The NBA should move Delaney from the Lakers.
