Poll — Should Giants play to win?

giants1227.jpgAs our Marcia C. Smith noted, the NFL deemed the New England Patriots’ quest for perfection so huge that it farmed out their game against the New York Giants to CBS and NBC for an unprecedented triple simulcast with NFL Network.

It will be a historic night, win or lose, but there’s no guarantee the Giants will cooperate by playing their starters (such as Eli Manning, left) the entire game.

No matter what happens Saturday, the Giants are locked into the No. 5 seed in the NFC.

Some believe they should go all out to try to prevent 16-0 from happening; others say they should worry only about themselves and rest players if necessary.
