The Ducks just sent out a news release regarding Scott Niedermayer. The first sentence reads: “Anaheim Ducks executive vice president/general manager Brian Burke will make an announcement regarding the playing status of Scott Niedermayer tonight at 6:30.”
The speculation throughout the day has been that Niedermayer is ready to announce he’s coming out of retirement.
